Missions:
Traditional shamanism was rich with sound. My experience of modern shamanism is that it has lost some of this richness. This is because a) most people feel shy, reserved, wounded about singing and using their voices, and b) training core shamanism taught today lacks a focus on the integral how-to aspects of sound-making, except here and there (invocation, extraction songs, etc). I am committed to change this trend, bringing the rich sound-based focus back into modern shamanism.
Modern sound healing as I have observed has not focused on the hows to of incorporating Spirit into sound making and is not being specifically taught. Because the divine helping spirits know infinitely more than we do about what is needed by a person in their healing, or in a ceremony for community healing, it is crucial that people have some procedural and experiential training in how to engage this infinite useful realm. I am committed to adding shamanism to modern sound healing for more powerful accurate results.

I am the principal instructor and healer at SoulNote, and co-community-cultivator for the emerging EarthHeart Community. My mission is to serve people, Earth, Soul through transformative mystical experiences in sound, nature, shamanism, relationship.
Studying the beautiful intricacies of ecology and nature while acquiring my Ph.D. fostered a wonder and fascination in the perfection of life. I expanded my awareness of nature through founding and teaching in a non-profit (Wolftree Inc.) that took young people into the outdoors.

Lauri offers sessions in shamanic sound healing that address the spiritual aspects of emotional, mental and physical health and well-being. We all, from time to time, feel like “I am just not myself” or “I feel like I am missing a part of myself”. This is common, and a reflection of soul loss. We all lose parts of our soul through trauma, illness, negative events or relationships that sap us. The resulting loss can create illness, negative behavioral patterns, reoccurring mental or physical pain. These can easily be alleviated through shamanic healing. Healing ceremonies may include soul retrieval, extraction, power animal retrieval, Reiki, classic sound healing, deposession, cord-cutting, and others. These ceremonies all can restore well-being and enhance vibrancy in your life.
